No. 8. Copy of a Letter from the Hon. W. Gisbobne to Mr. J. Busby. Colonial Secretary's Office, Sir,— Wellington, 26th July, 1569. I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 23rd instant, on the subject, of the settlement of your land claim, and to express my hope that the Bill which you state is about to be introduced will be such as will meet the approval of the General Assembly, and thus enable it to definitely settle the question this Session.
