RETURN OF ALL GRANTS OF LAND OR OTHER ENDOWMENTS MADE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NATIVE RACE.
[Beturn to an Order of the House of Bepresentatives, dated 15th August, 1865.] That there be laid upon the Table —" A Keturn of all Grants of Land or other Endowments heretofore made or sanctioned by His Excellency the present Q-overnor, or his predecessors in the Government of New Zealand, for the benefit of the Native Race, and of all Trusts created for carrying out the purposes for which such Grants of land or other endowments shall have been designed; also of the objects on which the proceeds of the same have been heretofore expended, so far as the local government are concerned." {Mr. Jbllie.)
