Sir, I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 10th of April, in which you inform me that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to assent to the following Ordinances of the Pro\incial Council of Southland, namely : 1. " The Bluff and Invercargill Railway Ordinance." 2. " The Debentures Ordinance." 3. " The Diversion of Roads Ordinance." 4. " The Appropriation Ordinance." Sir,— I have the honor to inform you that the Bills forwarded in your Honor's letter of the 6th ultimo, as per margin, and reserved by you for the signification of rhe Governor's pleasure thereon, have been laid before His Excellency, who has been pleased to assent to the same.
