The above Expenditure for the Year includes Balances due to Schools on account of former Years, and also items for Building, amounting to £426 18s, 4|d.; deduct this from £1,684 88, 1 Id., and the sum of i£1,257 10s. 6d. will be the actual cost of maintaining 163 Pupils, or on an average cost to the Thomas Btodle, Chairman of the Board.
