Masterton Trust Lands Amendment Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill.; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected, in that the lands described in the First Schedule, having been set apart for public purposes, constitute a " public reserve " as defined by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928. That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 20th September, 1935.
Napier Foreshore Extension Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are not affected. That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 20th September, 1935.
Napier Airport Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected, in that the land described in the First Schedule is a " public reserve " as defined by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928. Hawke's Bay County Empowering Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with, with the exception of Standing Order 364, no plan of the land described in the Schedule having been deposited in the Magistrates' Court or in the office of the local authority that promoted the Bill, as required by that Standing Order; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are not affected. That, notwithstanding the informality in connection with the Standing Orders referred to above, the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected, as certain of the water-races mentioned in clauses 2 and 3 pass over portions of Dyer and Moroa Settlements respectively. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are not affected. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report tnat it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are not affeced. . , , That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 18th September, 1935.
Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected, as the lands proposed to be exchanged between the Wellington City Corporation and the Wellington College Board of Governors constitute parts of public reserves and are subject to the provisions of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928. That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 18th September, 1935.

The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are not affected. That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 23rd October, 1935.
Southland Land Drainage Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it is a Local Bill; that the Standing Orders have been complied with, with the exception of Standing Order 366, which in so far as it relates to the number of days from the commencement of the session within which Local Bills may be introduced, was suspended by the House to enable the Bill to proceed; that the rights and prerogatives of the Crown are affected by the Bill as printed, in that clause 15 specifically purports to bind the Crown. If, however, the amendments suggested by the Committee are adopted by the House, the rights and prerogatives of the Crown will not be affected. That the Committee recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 23rd October, 1935.
Local Legislation Bill. The Local Bills Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that it has carefully considered the said Bill and taken evidence thereon, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. Special Report. The Local Bills Committee desires to place on record its high appreciation of the services rendered to it by the Chairman, Mr. A. E. Final Report. The Local Bills Committee, consisting of ten members, has held during the session fifteen meetings, with an average attendance of eight members per meeting.
