Dentures fitted : 10,293. Number of " unfit " men rendered " lit " through fitting of dentures : 4,720. Number whose fitness for active service was enhanced by fitting of dentures : 2,610. Fillings inserted : 69,674 (includes 9,046 root fillings). Extractions : 35,503 Minor operations : 55,32_. Number of " unfit " men rendered "fit" through fillings and extractions : 4,500. Total number of " unfit " men rendered " fit " by dental treatment in camp : 9,220 (34-06 per cent, of total number embarked).
