1916. NEW ZEALAND

EXPEDITIONARY FORCE (RETURN RELATIVE TO MAORIS AND HALF-CASTES IN).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 2nd June, 1916. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The number of Maoris and half-castes that left the Dominion np to and including the 31st May, 1916, with (a) the various Maori contingents, and (6) the New Zealand Expeditionary Force and reinforcements; (2) the number of Maoris and half-castes in training in the various training-camps with (a) the reinforoemonts to the Maori Contingent, and (6) the reinforcements to the New Zealand Expeditionary Force."—(Hon. Mr. Noata.)
