LEADING EXPORTS OF THE DOMINION FOR NINE MONTHS ENDED 31st MAY, 1914 AND 1915 RESPECTIVELY (COMPARATIVE RETURN SHOWING PARTICULARS OF THE).

Return, to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 30th July, 1915. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a comparative return showing the amount and valuo of the leading exports of the Dominion for the nine months ended the 31st May, 1914 and 1915 respectively: such return to include all commodities raised in valuo by the war, and, in particular, wool, sheep skins, hides, beef, veal, mutton, lamb, cheese, and butter; statements of values to be based on the High Commissioner's cables of prices at date of shipment; and also the total of the increases in value for the latter period as compared with the former." — (Mr. Russell.)

Comparative Bet urn showing the Amount and Value of the Leading Exports op the Dominion for the Nine Months ended the 31st May, 1914 and 1915 respectively, including all such Commodities raised in Value by the War, and, in particular, Wool, Sheep-skins, Hides, Beef, Veal, Mutton, Lamb, Cheese, and Butter; and showing also the Total of the Increases in Value for the Latter Period as compared with the former. N.B. —The values are based on those shown in the Customs returns (i.e., the values of the goods at the time of exportation from New Zealand as verified by the local merchants), as it is not practicable to base them upon cables from the High Commissioner, which do not represent all the qualities of goods exported.
