Ordered, " That there bo laid before, this House a return showing—(l) How the estimates of cost of the slot telephones asked for at the corner of Yaldhurst and Racecourse Roads, Upper Riccarton, and Pepper's Corner. Papanui, were arrived at; and (2) how the ! epartment estimated the loss on the working of a slot telephone at each of the two sites." —(Mr. Witty.)
