NATIVE LANDS PURCHASED BY THE CROWN SINCE 1905 (ACREAGE AND SETTLEMENT OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 3rd August, 1910. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing,—(l) The acreage of land purchased by the Crown from the Natives each year sinco the resumption of purchase in 1905 ; (2) the acreage of such land whioh has been opened each year for settlement; and (3) the total acreage of such land at present occupied by Europeans under the provisions of the Land Act."—(Mr. Hekries.)
Return showing—(1) The Acreage of Land purchased by the Crown from the Natives each Year since the Resumption of Purchase in 1905; (2) the Acreage of such Land which has been opened each Year for Settlement; and (3) the Total Area of such Land at present occupied by Europeans under the Provisions of the Land Act.
