These minima arc varied by class of wagon where capacity of wagon only permits of 5 lons being put in. In New Zealand all merchandise goods are carried by actual weight. Coal, mimmum 4 tons. Grain, &c, under Class E ; 1 ton 10 cwt. minimum. Manures, 5 cwt. minimum. Butter and cheese, 5 cwt. minimum.
