Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 2nd October, 1908. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing in detail the convictions as regards crime in the Ashburton Electorate for the two years ending the 30th June, 1902 pnd 1903, respectively ; also for th.3 two years ending on the 30th June, 1904 and 1905, respectively ; the return further to set forth the number of summonses issued for the above ysars for debt within the same electorate."—(Mr. Latjbenson. )
