CROWN TENANTS (PARTICULARS RELATIVE TO NUMBER OF, AND CONDITIONS OF TENURE).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 7th August, 190 H. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showiug, as on the 31st March, 1908, —(1) The number o Crown tenants in the Dominion ; ('2) tho number of Crown tenants who have taken ug sections of ordinary Crown land under lease in perpetuity ; (3) the number of Crown tenants who have taken up ordinary Crown land under occupation with right of purchase; (4) the number of original lessees who are now in occupation of their sections under lease in perpetuity and the number who have sold their interests to others; (5) the number of original lessees who are now in occupation of their sections under lease with right of purchase and the number who have sold their interest to others; and (G) the number of Crown tenants who arc original lessees now in occupation of their sections under the Land for Settlements Act and the number who have sold their interest to others." —(Mil.
