RESIGNATION OF HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR NEW ZEALAND IN LONDON (CABLEGRAM RELATIVE TO).
Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly by Command of His Excellency.
Copy of Cable received at 1.1 p.m. on 24th July, 1908. Premier, Wellington. I have the honour to inform you that I have been appointed Director of London School of Economics as from October next. Secondly, I therefore propose to tender resignation High Commissioner in October. Thirdly, I shall, however, be able to remain in charge here for limited time after that if it is your wish. Fourthly, Governors School of Economics are quite agreeable to facilitate any reasonable arrangement to meet your convenience. London, 23rd July, 8-55 p.m. Reeves.
