Return of Stock slaughtered and Compensation paid under " The Stock Act Amendment Act, 1898," during the Year ended the 31st March, 1906. 1. The total number of each description of stock condemned : 2,941 cattle, 1 sheep, 49 swine. 2. The total amount paid in respect of compensation, showing separately the total amounts based on the full market value and on the half market value: — £ s. d.
