Prime Minister's Office, Wellington, 7th September, 1905. Memorandum for the Secretary to the Tbeasuky. Will you please inform me how Captain Seddon signs his vouchers, and whether any such vouchers are signed " E. J. S. Seddon." E. J. Seddon.

Eight Hon. Colonial Treasurer. All vouchers in the Treasury for payments made to Captain Seddon are receipted " E. J. Seddon.'' There are no vouchers signed " E. J. S. Seddon." 7th September, 1905. Jas. B. Heywood, Secretary.
