IMPORTED AND NEW ZEALAND RAILWAY SLEEPERS (FURTHER PARTICULARS RELATIVE TO).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 24th July, 1903. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing the number of railway sleepers relaid and removed during the year ending the 31st March, 1903, on the different lines of the colony, the various kinds of timber in the said sleepers, and the average duration of the life of such sleepers, showing each class of timber separately." —(Mr. McNab.)
