IMPORTS AND EXPORTS OF THE COLONY (RETURN SHOWING VALUE OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 37th September, 1898. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return setting forth the value of the imports and exports of the colony, showing totals (exclusive of specie) during each of the last seven years (1891 to 1.897, both inclusive); and also showing separately imports and exports (exclusive of specie) to and from (1) the United Kingdom; (2) foreign oountries—i.e., all except British possessions; and separately the imports and exports to and from (3) Australia, including Tasmania; (4) the Pacific Islands; (5) India; (6) Singapore; (7) Oaylon; (8) the United States; and (9) Germany."—(Mr. G.
