PROSPECTING SUBSIDIES (AMOUNTS PAID AS).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 12th July, 1898. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing the amounts paid during last financial year in prospecting subsidies under regulations issued in the Government Gazette of the 12th July, 1894, to each Miners' Association, County Council, or Road Board, specifying the name of such association or syndicate, County Council, or Road Board to whom such moneys have bean paid."—(Mr. Buchanan.)
