RAILWAY EMPLOYES. (MEN AND BOYS EMPLOYED BY THE RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS RECEIVING 12s. PER DAY AND UNDER.)

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 11th July, 1894. Ordered, " That a return be procured from the Railway Commissioners, and laid before this House, showing the number of men employed by them in January, 18S9, receiving six shillings and sixpence (6s. 6d.) a day and up to twelve shillings (125.) a day, also the number of boys or lads who received less than six shillings and sixpence (6s. 6d. a day; and a similar return for January, 1894." —(Mr. Millab.)
