THE TOTALISATOR: RETURNS SHOWING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PERMITS ISSUED, AND DAYS OF RACING WHEN THE TOTALISATOR WAS USED, DURING THE PAST FOUR YEARS; ALSO THE PERCENTAGE PAID TO THE TREASURY PROM THE USE OF THE TOTALISATOR DURING 1892-93.
Returns to Orders of the Souse of Representatives dated 28th June, 1893. Ordered, "That a return be laid before this House showing the total number of permits issued, and days of racing on which the use of the totalisator was authorised, in each of the years ending 31st March, 1890, 1891, 1892, and 1893."—(Mr. Duthie.) Ordered, "That a return be laid 'before this House of the amount of the percentages paid to the Treasury from the investments on the totalisator in the several provincial districts of the colony respectively for the year from the Ist April, 1892, to the 31st March, 1893."—(Mr. W. Hutchison.)
