EDUCATION: SCHOOL BUILDINGS ACCOUNT (RETURNS RELATIVE TO).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 18th July, 1893. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House setting out (1) an abstract of the amount asked for by each. Education Board for building purposes during the current year; (2) a statement showing the amounts which the several Education Boards respectively advanced to the credit of the Building Account from any other account of each Board during the year ended 31st December, 1892." —(Mr. G. (2.) Amounts which the Sevebal Education Boaeds eespectively advanced to the Ceedit of the Building Account feom any othee Account. Auckland, £3,000; Taranaki, £125 15s. 4d. (described as consisting of items that could have been legitimately charged to the School Building Account); Wanganui, £2,000; Hawke's Bay, £49 os. lid.; Grey, £50; North Canterbury, £343 17s.
