COAL USED FOR RAILWAYS AND PUBLIC DEPARTMENTS.
Beturn to an Order of the House of dated 13th July, 1892. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing the amount of coal purchased by the New Zealand Eailway Commissioners, also by the several departments of the public service of the colony, during the last three financial years the localities from which the coal was obtained and specifying the rate per ton paid for the said coal during those periods."—(Mr. Hogg.)
