EXPENDITURE UPON MAINTENANCE OF EACH DEPARTMENT OF GOVERNMENT (RETURN OF, FOR YEARS 1886 TO 1892, INCLUSIVE). [In continuation of Parliamentary Paper B.-25, 1892.]
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 16th August, 1892. Ordered, "That a return be laid before this House showing the expenditure on account of salary and allowances to the Governor and maintenance of Government Houses, salaries of Cabinet Ministers, travelling and other expenses of such. Ministers, maintaining the Ministerial residences, the Legislative Council, the House of Representatives, and each department of the Colonial Government of New Zealand ; such return to be a reprint (in part) of Return 8.-17, 1890, that is to say, from and including the financial year 1885-86 to the year 18S9-90, with the particulars of the financial years 1890-91 and 1891-92 added; and in respect of each year tabulated in the return, that the expenditure on Land Fund Account shall be shown and included in the totals."—(Hon. Return showing the Expenditure in the Financial Years ended the 31st March, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1891, and 1892, on account of Salary and Allowances to the Governor and Maintenance of Government Houses, Salaries of Cabinet Ministers, Travelling and other Expenses of such Ministers, maintaining the Ministerial Eesidences, the Legislative Council, the House of Bepresentatives, and each Department of the Colonial Government of New Zealand, chargeable on the Ordinary Bevenue of the Colony; also the Expenditure on the Land Fund Account for the same Years.
