FINANCIAL CONDITION OF FRIENDLY SOCIETIES (RETURN OF).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 27th Atujust, ISB9. Ordered, " That a return be laid on the table setting forth (1) the number of members, present value of benefits, present value of contributions, amount of funds and surplus or deficiency in each district, of the affiliated orders, as at the last valuation, together with a statement of the date up to which such valuation was made, and the amount of surplus or deficiency per member in each case ; (2) a summary of the actuarial position of the several orders, including the Order of Druids, containing the same particulars of information as in section 1." —(Mr. Pish.)
