Memorandum from the Agent-Genehal to the Hon. the Colonial Secretary. (No. 758.) 7, Westminster Chambers, London, S.W., 24th June, 1889. New Zealand Hemp. Adverting to my letter of 17th ultimo, No. 599, I now beg leave to transmit copy of a further letter I have received from Messrs. Eedfern, Alexander, and Co., containing additional statistics relating to New Zealand hemp. P. D. Bell.

Eeferring to your recent inquiry on this subject, and to our letter of the 13th May, we beg to append the following additional statistics, which will no doubt be of interest: — Landed. Delivered. For the month ended 31st May, 1889 ... ... 751 tons 887 tons.
