SETTLEMENT OF LANDS OF COLONY UNDER EACH DIFFERENT SYSTEM.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 10th November, 1887. Ordered, " That there be laid on the table a return showing the total number of persons settled on the lands of the colony under each different system, from the 30th March last to the 30th September, including the number of persons who during that period have balloted for lands under the special-settlement system."—(Mr. Smith.)
