EXPENDITURE ON PUBLIC WORKS AT HOKITIKA, GREY, AND WESTPORT.
Return to an Order of the House of. Representatives, dated 19th September, 1884. Ordered, " That there be laid upon the table a.return showing (1) the expenditure by the colony on the harbours of Hokitika, Grey, and Westport; (2) the expenditure upon railways and other public works incidental to, and connected with, the ports of Hokitika, Grey, and Westport; (3) the expenditure in connection with the coal measures of Westport and Greymouth, and the proved extent of the said coal measures."— (Mr. Seddon.)
No. 1. Statement showing the Expenditure by the Colony to the 31st March, 1884, and the Liabilities on that Date, on the Harbours of Hokitika, Grey, and Westport.
No. 2. Statement showing the Expenditure upon Railways connected with the Ports of Hokitika, Grey, and Westport up to 31st March, 1884, and Liabilities on that Date.
