(Return to an Order of the House of Representatives of 7th July, 1870.) there he laid on the Tahle of this House—" A Eeturn of the amount of Revenue collected under " The Gold Duty Act, 1858," " The Mining Companies Act, 1865 " and 1869, " The Gold Fields Act, 1866," and the several Gold Field Acts passed by this House since 1866, and any Regulations made in conformity with the said Acts, for three quarters of the financial year ending 31st March, 1870. The Return to show in detail the amount collected in each Province and County under the following heads:—Miners' Rights; Business Licenses; Rents or Fees for Water Races, Sluices, &c.; Gold Mining Leases, Rents and Royalties; Registration Fees; Miscellaneous Receipts ; F^ees and Fines in "Wardens' Courts ; Gold Duty.
