Loan for £500,000, issued under "The New Zealand Loan Act, 1856" (guaranteed by the Imperial Government under Act 20 and 21 Vict., cap. 51), invested in 3 per cent. Consols up to 13th January, 1869; subsequently sold and re-invested in Colonial Government Securities, under Treasury Authority dated 6th February, 1869.
