That there be laid on the Table of this House —"A Eeturn showing, 1st, The number of Commissioned Officers now receiving pay, either in the Militia, Volunteers, or Armed Constabulary of the Colony, with the rank, and rate of pay and other allowances in each case, and also showing where each such Officer is now serving; 2nd, The number of Non-commissioned Officers and Privates* in the above several services, distinguishing the number in each service, with the rate of pay and other allowances in each rank, and also showing where now serving."
