"With reference to my Despatch No. 97, of the 12th October, I transmit to you a copy of a letter from the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury, enclosing a copy of an amended account of Investments in the Consolidated Three per cent. Annuities, for the Sinking Fund of the Guaranteed Loan to New Zealand, to be substituted for that forwarded in my Despatch No. 25, of the 27th February, together with a further account up to the end of the year 1863. I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to transmit to you for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, the enclosed copy of an amended account of Investments in the Consolidated Three per cent. Annuities, for the Sinking Fund of the Guaranteed Loan to New Zealand, to be substituted for that forwarded to you on 24th February last, together with a copy of a further account up to the end of the year 1863 ; and I am to request you to move His Grace to forward the same for the information of the Governor and Assembly of New Zealand.
