FORMER M.P. DEAD
MR GEORGE WITTY LONG CONTINUOUS TERM (By teicgrapli.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday The death has occurred of Mr George Witty, former M.P. and M.L.C., aged 85. Mr Witty was member of Parliament for Riccarton for 23 years, 1902 to 1925, and a member of the Legislative Council for seven years.
