MEMBER OF FORESTRY UNIT Corporal Basil Marshall-Inman, whose death on active service was officially announced recently, was aged 30 and serving with the New Zealand Forestry Unit in England. He was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs I. Marshall-Inman, of Tirau. Before his enlistment Corporal MarshallInman was on the staff of the Baththolomew Timber Company, Limited, Te Whetu, near Putaruru. He was well known in sport in the Matamata and Putaruru districts. Three brothers are on active service
