Since April his staff had replaced 17 lamps, eight of which had been replaced during j October and November. Some of j the lamps had been broken by the standards being hit by passing vehicles and others had failed through the heavy vibration caused by vehicles. It was notewortny that me lamp at the end of the bridge near- ! est Victoria Street had not had to be replaced this year. Normally the lamps should give service for about a year. ihe Town Clerk.
