RATES REMISSION
APPLICATION FROM Y.M.C.A. j The possibility of the Hamilton Y.M.C.A. having to close its doors through lack of support was mentioned at the Hamilton Borough Council meeting last night during discussion following an application from the Y.M.C.A. Trustees for remission of rates, which amount to £75 11s 6d a year. Support for remission was voiced by Messrs F. Findlay, J. Trcloar and ! C. Lafferty, but after some discussion Mr K. McCaw’s suggestion to refer the application to tne rating committee lor a report was adopted.
