AVERAGE YARDINGS GOOD QUALITY IN DEMAND FRANK TON STOCK SALE Prices ruling a week ago were maintained at the Frankton stock sale yesterday when an average yarding in nearlv all sections came forward. Bidding was brisk for the tops in all cases In the fat beef section a beautiful pen or Polled Angus bullocks—the best in the yards—was sought for at bids up to £l4 ss. but this was below the vendor's estimate, and no sale resulted Actual sales were made at up to £l3 7s 6d a pen of Polled Angus from Messrs Blackett Bros . Tc Kowhai. topping the market. A pen from Mr A Ramsa;.. Tauwhare. made £l3 5s Offerings by Mr G A Eyre. Wc.nai. and the Hah Estate.
