MEETING OF PROTEST

TERRITORIALS AND DRINK MINISTERS TAKE ACTION At a meeting of the Hamilton Ministers’ Association it was reported that Territorials on week-end leave in Hamilton were getting drink. The seriousness of the matter was noted, as most of the Territorials were boys, and under age for being served with liquor at public bars. A request had reached the association for its support to a protest to be voiced at a meeting shortly to be held and including all the women’s organisations of the town. It was decided to give every support to the project.
