REPORTED PRISONER

DRIVER O. R. J. HUNTER Advice was received yesterday by Mr and Mrs J. G. Hunter, of Frankton, that their son, Driver O. R. J. Hunter, is a prisoner of war in Stalag VIIIB camp in Germany. Driver Hunter was reported missing in Crete on June 19. Before leaving Hamilton Driver Hunter was employed by Messrs E. C. Day, Limited. He was wellknown in Rugby football circles, having played for the City Club for several years. A brother, D. H. W. Hunter, is serving in Egypt.

SERGEANT W. H. McKINLAY Advice has been received by Mr E. A. McKinlay, of 32 Norton Road, Hamilton, that his son, Sergeant W. H. McKinlay, of the Army Service Corps, who was previously reported as missing, is a prisoner of war in Germany. On June 19 Mr McKinlay received advice that his son was missing in Crete, and although a cablegram seeking further information was sent, nothing was heard until official advice of his location in Germany came to hand .last night. Sergeant McKinlay, who is 35 years of age, is a single man and was employed by the New Zealand Dairy Association in Nelson at the time" of enlistment. A brother, Gunner H. R. McKinlay, was posted as missing only three weeks before Sergeant McKinlay and is also a prisoner of war in Germany. He was an accountant employed by the Union Steam Ship Company at Napier.
