AIR FORCE RECRUITS

FINE RESPONSE IN WAIKATO TOTAL EXCEEDS 130 Over 130 candidates for the Royal New Zealand Air Force were interviewed at Hamilton on Monday and Tuesday by the selection committee, Squadron-Leader A. C. McArthur and Lieutenant L. Lidgard. This total is considered to be a splendid response, especially as the committee had sat n Hamilton only a month or so ago. Squadron - Leader McArthur expressed gratification at the fine type of young men offering. All the men interviewed will, in the next few weeks, be examined by a medical board and those who pass will undergo an education course on or about May 12. The men will go to camp a month later.
