NOTES FROM OHAUPO
HOME GUARD DANCE An enjoyable dance was organised by the Ohaupo Home Guard Social Committee, recently in the local hall, when a happy evening was spent by the large attendance. Among those present were:—Mesdames B. C. O’Connor, rainbow sheer; W. A. Forsyth, black chenille velvet; P. Bell, pink parma velvet; B. Elliot, forest green taffeta; Davidson, petunia crepe; Pearman, pale blue crepe; B. Bissett, mulberry georgette; H. Goodrick, black cyclamen figured cloque; R. Field, ivory souple satin; E. Watten, embossed taffeta; C. Ryburn, red and white figured crepe; T. Rogers, black marocain; B. Ralph, spotted tulle. Misses H. Barham, floral satin; G. Boyd, cyclamen satin beaute; G. Graham, figured georgette; C. Hogan, green voile; Thompson, grey pinstriped silk; M. Sands, figured silk; F. MacDonald, ivory georgette; G. Turnwald, petunia satin; Zoe Turnwald, black and white spotted satin; K. Smiliie, blue shot taffeta; Jess Price, rainbow flowered net; P. Davies, floral georgette; P. Fowler, navy georgette; B. Pratt, black georgette; P. Nickel, navy skirt and white blouse; H. Gittaner, black taffeta; M. Rogers, lacquered satin; G. Hetet, aqua chiffon; I. George, blue velvet; B. Boucher, blue sequined net; M. Forsyth, floral satin beaute.
