UNIT AT KAtPAKI A strong unit of the Home Guard has hern formed In Kaipaki under the leadership of Mr C. V. <iarinon*-wa<y, supported by Mr I. Cruiekshank?. as secretary. and three young N.C.O.'s who are attending extra classes for special instruction. The strengm of the unit ts at present about to members, with a prospect of more in the near future. Parades are being held once a week in the kaipaki Hall, pending the installation of floodj.gilts on the sports ground, when, in the much larger space, drill and manoeuvres will be carried oul to much better advantage.
