MR ROOSEVELT’S POPULARITY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) NEW YORK, March 15 A survey by the American Institute of Public Opinion reports that President Roosevelt’s popularity is the highest ever. In answer to the question: “Do you or disapprove of Mr Roosevelt as President?”, 72 per cent approved and 28 per cent disapproved. The highest previous popularity mark recorded was in February, 1934, at the end of Mr Roosevelt’s first year at the White House.
