MAORI KILLED
FALL UNDER TRAIN ACCIDENT AT FRANKTON Fatal injuries were received by a Maori, Mr Manura Wharekawa, aged about 40, of Katikati, when he was dragged under a train at Frankton on Saturday night. The accident occurred when Mr Wharekawa was attempting to board a special train from Ngaruawahia bound for Hamilton. Death was instantaneous.
