HOME GUARD
HAMILTON EAST RALLY With the object of stimulating recruiting in the Hamilton Home Guard, which is purely a voluntary organisation, it is intended to hold a rally and public meeting in Pearson’s Hall. Hamilton East, on Wednesday, March 19. at 8 p.m., when speakers will be Lieutenant-Colonel R. D. McFarland, M.C., Area Commander; Captain T. H. Melrose, Hamilton Unit Commander: and Mr H. D. Caro, Mayor of Hamilton. Opportunity will be afforded to enrol at the meeting. The coordination of the Emergency Precautions Scheme will be explained.
