Pilot-Officer J. D. Cochrane, of Whenuapai, is on leave in Hamilton.
Flight-Lieutenant Gladstone Hill, a former resident of Hamilton and now conductor of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, was in Hamilton today.
Messrs V. Timlis (Whakatane), A. Walsh, A. V. Burton (Auckland), C. V. Hake (Sydney) and B. T. Aidworth (Los Angeles) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
Superintendent A. Craig, of the Hamilton Fire Brigade, returned on Saturday from Blenheim, where he attended the conference of the United Fire Brigades’ Association.
Lieutenant J. McLennan. Sergeant B. W. Thompson and Bombardier J. Maxwell, of the 7th Medium Battery, who have been attending a special gunnery course at Trentham, have returned to Hamilton. Mr H. H. Germon, recently of the Bank of New South Wales staff in Brisbane, arrived by the Aotearoa from Sydney yesterday en route to Wellington, where he has been appointed assistant to the bank’s inspector for New Zealand, Mr R. C. Addison.
