SALE AT PIO PIO •Messrs Dalgety and company. Ltd., report having held their autumn cattle fa*: - at Plo Plo on Monday, when the advertised number of cattle was offered to a good attendance or local and outside, buyer*. The quality and condition were flr-st class, many lines of good bullocks being- offered and these sold under good competition at prices above those realised at Te Kuiti i!ie previous Friday. Younger steers, however, did not meet with each good enquiry and prices for these were easier. Top price for a line or bullocks was obtained for Mr F. J. Boddy’s entry or 4 2 exceptionally well done Si-year Polled Angus steers which made £to. Waikato buyers gave good competition and took a large portion of tbe yarding. Medium-weight fat Hereford steers from Mr J. Hunter made £7 4s, best-condition Polled Angus bullocks £9 10s to £lO. lighter condition £8 to £9, good 31-jear Polled Angus steers £7 10s to £7 153, good 2s-year Polled Angus steers £6 10s to £7. medium sorts £6 to £6 10s, 13montbs Polled Angus steers £5 to £5 10s, smaller sorts £i 53 to £4 15s, heavy rat eows and heifers £6 15s to £7 10s, lighter oorts m to £6.
