MASTER PRINTERS
COURAGE IN BRITAIN DOMINION’S ADMIRATION (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday Admiration for the British Federation of Master Printers in the manner in which members had endured the ravages of war was expressed in a resolution passed by the Federation of Master Printers of New Zealand yesterday. “The master printers of New Zealand particularly wish to express their sorrow at the fact that many world-famous houses have suffered destruction and grievous loss through enemy action,” stated the resolution. "The printers of New Zealand commend their English fellow craftsmen on their courage, and assure them that lovers of liberty everywhere are inspired by their contribution to the fight lor freedom.” At the 34th annual conference of the Federation of Master Printers of New Zealand, Mr B. A grant of £IOOO from the federation’s resources was made as the nucleus of a fund to enable gift parcels to be sent to employers and employees who are serving with the Army, Navy and Air Force overseas. Officers for the ensuing year are: — President, Mr B. C. Jacobs (Auckland); vice-president, Mr H. W. Osborn (Wellington); immediate past president, Mr H.
