Lunar Eclipse

Conditions could have hardly been more unfavourable in Hamilton for observing the lunar eclipse last night. The night was heavily overcast with an occasional light drizzle. The eclipse was not a total one, the greatest obscuration occurring at midnight when the lower third of the moon’s diameter was immersed in the earth’s shadow.
