IN ITALIAN SOMALILAND ADVANCE IN ALL SECTORS BOMBING BY AIRMEN fOmclal wireless) (Received March 14, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, March 13 A Cairo communique states: In Libya, Eritrea and Abyssinia there is nothing of importance to report. In Italian Somaliland our advance continues in all sectors. A Royal Air Force Middle East communique states: In Albania bomber formations, supporting the operations of the Greek Army, again bombed Italian troops and motor transport on the Talva-Buzi Road. Full results were not observed because of low clouds. In Eritrea on March 11 South African fighter anreraft carried out a number of machine-gun attacks against ground targets. Enemy aircraft on the aerodrome at Asmara, hangars at Decamere. and a number of petrol dumps in the area were among the objectives attacked. A good train on the Karen-Asmara line was machine-gunned add damaged. Bomber aircraft also attacked military objectives at Assab. Malta was raided during the night of March 11. Some damage was caused. Although there were no Royal Air Force casualties, a few civilians were killed or wounded. From all these operations our aircraft returned safely.
